Anterior Discectomy & Fusion at C6-7

This animation depicts a cervical discectomy and fusion at C6-7. An incision is made over the anterior neck, exposing C6 and C7. An annulotomy and discectomy is performed. Bilateral foraminotomies are performed. The end plates are prepared for the impaction of an allograft cage. Anterior osteophytes are removed, and C6-7 is fixed with a plate and screws.
